New Year new cookie recipe. Spritz cookies are machine molded and pressed cookies that turn the average baker into a professional artist. We have also found the same dough for the Spritz cookies, tastes delicious with jams, so we decided to use it for thumbprints as well. It will take a little practice using your Spritz gun; try counting to 3 between each cookie until you get a rhythm going.
Another great thing about this dough, it’s very simple. Try adding peanut butter, coconut, chocolate, food coloring… the possibilities are endless.
